- Awesome Music: While it's certainly not as well-known as his themes for Mission: Impossible or Mannix, Lalo Schifrin's big sky theme music for Petrocelli is pretty cool.
- Germans Love David Hasselhoff: Petrocelli was cancelled after two seasons in the US, however it became a beloved cult show in Hungary, where it's still popular today.
- Retroactive Recognition:
- Richard Donner directed the episodes "Death In High Places" and "Mirror, Mirror, On the Wall".
- Harrison Ford in "Edge of Evil".
- Jonathan Goldsmith in "Once Upon a Victim", "Shadow of Fear" and "Survival" (billed as Jonathan Lippe).
- Mark Hamill in "The Outsiders" and "The Gamblers".
- Gerald McRaney in "Terror on Wheels" and "Death Ride".
- Annette O'Toole in "Terror on Wheels".
- John Ritter in "Chain of Command".
- They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: The switch from courtroom drama to Mannix-styled action didn't help the series at all, pushing it closer to the bucket.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Mike Fisher, the young lawyer played by Tim Matheson who aids Tony in "Shadow of a Doubt" would have made a great sidekick...too bad they didn't introduce him sooner!
