YMMV / Partia

  • Game-Breaker: Warp and Rescue staffs in Partia 2. They're already very good in Fire Emblem, but due to a certain glitch in Partia 2, they completely break the game in two. A staff user can Warp or Rescue if they're holding those staffs when you select them, but they only spend a use of a staff if the staff is in their inventory when they use its ability. This means that if a staff user is holding Warp or Rescue when you select them, but you have them trade it to another unit in that same turn, then they will still be able to use Warp or Rescue and can do so without spending up a staff use. This effectively gives you infinite uses of Warp and Rescue. Oh and by the way, you get two of each staff in two consecutive chapters around the midgame. Keep in mind, by the way, that warp staffs in this game work like in Thracia 776 where they have infinite range. Unlike most examples of Game Breakers, which are just especially good abilities, this legitimately removes almost all of the game's difficulty and was very obviously not intended by the developer. Otherwise long and difficult maps can be trivialized in mere minutes.
