- Crossing the Line Twice: Chouko attempting suicide? Not funny. Chouko attempting suicide the instant Setsu rejects her wish to watch her take a piss? Oddly hilarious.
- Jerkass Woobie: Sister Itami. She comes as a terrifying sadistic monster for a big chunk of the manga, but Chapter 45 reveals that her sadism is simply another Oddman compulsion. She actually really likes Setsu and the other Oddmen, but is incapable of showing it without tormenting them.

- The Woobie:
- Chouko. As creepy as she is, it's hard not to feel sorry for her when her Oddman quirk is having every living being in the world hate her.
- Fujou. It's heavily implied that her Oddman quirk compels her to refuse to clean herself, making her status as a Walking Wasteland way more tragic.
