  • Nightmare Fuel:
    • Even for Pink Floyd standards, "Absolutely Curtains" is a downright unnerving song. After a good serving of decent vocal tracks, having it end on an instrumental seems like a jarring change of pace, and the outright indecipherable chanting of the Mapuga tribe is unsettling with the way it's incorporated.
    • It's made even worse if you decide to do an album marathon of Pink Floyd, given that this song is the last song you'll hear before The Dark Side of the Moon, the album touted as the band's magnum opus.
  • Suspiciously Similar Song:
    • "Free Four" is similar to Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit in the Sky."
    • "Stay" has a piano chord progression that's suspiciously similar to Elton John's "Your Song." Pink Floyd recorded the song in the same studio that Elton had used.
