• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: A notable criticism of the film was that it omitted portions of the book it adapted that were much more disapproving of Amazon (who produced the film), with chapters detailing the injuries workers including the author herself suffered on the job, and open disparaging by some of its employees. By contrast, in the film Fern and her coworkers seem perfectly content with the job and there are no onscreen injuries or complaints about the company.
