• Hilarious in Hindsight: Twilight being groomed to be a successor for the princesses rings pretty closely to the ending of the third season of the series, where she does get crowned a princess of Equestria and becomes an Alicorn. Too bad Raefire wasn't around to see this happen.
• Moral Event Horizon: Discord apparently crossed it in the backstory, when he killed Celestia and Luna's parents — he Mind Raped them so far past the Despair Event Horizon that they simply lost the will to live and wasted away.
• The Woobie: Several:
  • Birostris Oswaft - being The Last of His Kind for ten thousand years definitely left a mark on him, so much so that he asks Twilight to kill him and put him out of his misery.
