• Anti-Climax Boss: Despite his actions, Discord is defeated very easily without putting up much of a fight. This doesn't make it any less satisfying though.
• Fan Nickname: For the corrupted Mane Six:

  • Flutterjerk / Flutterbitch
  • Rainbow Ditch
  • Twilight Sparkless
• Heartwarming in Hindsight: Applejack's lies, if you think about it. What she says is the opposite of what she means or wants to say.
• Harsher in Hindsight: While trying to catch Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Rarity get tangled in the rope and are flung out of the hot air balloon. They are later saved when Fluttershy brings Rainbow Dash under control. This moment becomes difficult to watch when in "The Last Roundup", Pinkie Pie and Rarity get separated while chasing Applejack and Rainbow Dash orders them to be left behind.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Discord's World of Chaos seems like a Lighter and Softer version of Weirdmageddon.
  • Fluttershy having a rare moment of fury by calling Discord a "big dumb meanie" is this, considering their later relationship.
• Moe: Applejack, of all ponies, when she begs Twilight to forgive her.
• Narm Charm: Yes, Discord's turned Ponyville into a bright-colored and silly world, but it doesn't make Twilight's Heroic BSoD any less heartbreaking.
