** One of Jackson's favorite kittens from the kitten rescue transport, Mojito, was the subject of a later episode as she was driving her new family more than a little nuts with her aggression. Thankfully most of her aggression was misdirected play energy, and the children of the family ''did'' love her very much so there was little chance of rehoming even with the problems.

* CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming: Many, but the earliest comes at the end of the first episode, when the cat owner's boyfriend - who had never considered himself a "cat person" and would have rather had (in his own words) a tiny, annoying dog than his girlfriend's two cats - offhandedly refers to the kitties as "my cats." When he realizes what he's just said and how far his relationship with the cats has progressed, he has to reiterate it to Jackson with obvious delight and pride.

again, editing info on the Lux episode; after watching the ep & reading over various third-party followup, the original family did NOT "allow the baby" to tug/yank on the cat. The tail-pull happened before the mother realized where the kid had gone; she pulled the child away immediately (though not before the cat lashed out). Even on the ep, the husband states he "kicked at" the cat, but that was out of anger over his child being hurt & that the kick barely touched Lux; neither Jackson nor the vet found any abuse nor neglect, & the family had only shut Lux up in the back room recently out of fear for their baby's safety; there's also no record or proof that they tried to get Lux back.

** One Season 5 episode ended with [[spoiler: the owners surrendering their cat to a foster home]] because of his Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome. While the cat turned out happy and the owners did too, it was heartbreaking to watch. But Subverted in that the family admitted to allowing the child to pull and yank on the cat, and the father had in fact kicked the cat. They'd also previously kept him locked up in a tiny room and then wondered why he was so frustrated. They would later go on to try to get Lux back, but thankfully were blocked.

* HarsherInHindsight: A few of the cats that Jackson has saved can become even more tragic thanks to certain events learned later on after the episode aired. For example, Lux the "911 cat" with a condition that can cause him random pain at times becomes more tragic when it was revealed that the initial foster family also had to re-home Lux, as his condition worsened beyond their ability to handle. Thankfully, a new foster family and new meds seem to be having better luck.

removing accusations of "abuse" — the prior link was a broken Facebook link, and there's no proof of any "abuse" of said cat anywhere (not even the ep itself), not even in post-episode followups by third-party news sources.

**For cat lovers, it can be a TearJerker to watch some of the owners insist that their cats have good sides and just need help, especially if other people in their lives are insisting on measures like euthanasia. One of the most touching of these moments was with Einstein. One of his owners was a young boy who broke down on camera while saying how much he loved the cat.
