• Diagnosed by the Audience: Camera. He has very poor social skills and hates being touched. This suggests he is on the autism spectrum, but could also be the result of a difficult childhood.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Sena caught reader's attention pretty quickly. Leon took a bit longer, but he's also been quite popular.
• Ho Yay: Steadily creeping in between Camera and Aeolus towards the end of the Second Loop. They hold hands for a suspiciously long time in Entry #24 and Camera consoles Aeolus in Entry #26... by holding him down on his bed while they're both shirtless. In Entry #28, they start sharing a bed. Camera even sniffs the shirt Aeolus gave him!
• Growing the Beard: The First Loop started out awkward and inconsistent, and then sort of slowly rambled on for awhile before picking up near the end. But since all the establishment was out of the way at that point, The Second Loop really picks up speed and doesn't slow down.
• Launcher of a Thousand Ships: Camera has many unique and entertaining dynamics with pretty much every other character. This makes him highly shippable.
• Narm: The robot-cowboy-skeletons in Entry #18. Several readers complain it's silly and breaks the otherwise highly dramatic and immersive entry. Even the writer admitted in retrospect that it might've worked better in a visual medium as opposed to writing.
• The Scrappy: Kaeti, who does almost nothing but bitch and moan and needs to be forced into doing anything remotely useful. This was undoubtedly intentional. Increased further when she skipped town with the military in the Third Loop.
• Take That, Scrappy!: Twice. Camera punches Kaeti in the face in Entry #22, and then Jay really tears into her in Entry #23.
• Viewer Gender Confusion: In-Universe, Jay mistakes Etoile for a boy. While she is rather boyish, nobody else seems to have trouble distinguishing her gender, so Jay is probably just that dumb.
• The Woobie: A few of them, actually. Simon gives off this vibe constantly but we still don't know what his deal is.
