* HePannedItNowHeSucks: Aside from heated reactions to the gang praising/bashing divisive movies (to the point they did a TakeThatAudience ''Prometheus'' "re-review"), most of the comments in the ''[[Film/BenHur2016 Ben-Hur]]'' review are complaints on how in the intro, Brian calls ''Film/CitizenKane'' a bad movie.

* BaseBreakingCharacter: Prior to his departure, Jake. Reading the comments, fans either loved him or hated him. Plenty of people wouldn't even watch videos that featured him due to his [[HePannedItNowHeSucks controversial viewpoints,]] and the ferocity with which he stood by them. Also, [[ClusterFBomb the swearing.]] He's gone on record of acknowledging those who don't care for his opinion; "Screw you, I'm not here for you (I don't even know why I'm here)". However, he's also said that even those who don't like him will still respect him for at least maintaining his opinions instead of bowing to public pressure. However, when Jake was fired from the site, and a leaked message from Brad exposed what he had done to earn his removal, public opinion quickly turned against him and very few commenters on post-Jake videos hold him in any kind of respect. Brad's fanbase now holds a fairly uniform opinion of him as "[[FanNickname Scumbag Jake]]".

* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: The show has gone through different formats. The car format ended in April 2019 and returned in late September 2019. After the ''Series/TigerKing'' review, posted in March 2020, Brad, due to the UsefulNotes/COVID19Pandemic, started reviewing things by himself in his house. Some reviews since then were done in the car format. The show went back to its original format, although it was mostly just Brad and Jerrid in the videos, but several reviews after that were done in the post-''Tiger King'' review format. The review for ''WesternAnimation/PAWPatrolTheMovie'' was done in the original format. It that review, Brad explains that he only needs to talk about some movies for a few minutes, but ''PAW Patrol: The Movie'' needed more time devoted to talking about it. Now most reviews are done in the "Brad at home" format.

* FunnyAneurysmMoment:
** Jake in the Worst Movies of 2011 list said when speaking of ''[[Film/AlvinAndTheChipmunks Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked]]'' that "It's a good thing I didn't have a gun in the theater because I would have shot myself."
** Brad getting kicked out of the house by Jillian for bashing ''Literature/{{Twilight}}'' is now pretty awkward to watch after Brad announced that he and Jillian have separated.
** Many Brad and Jake videos, particularly the ''Nothing!'' video, that showcase the two of them at the height of their friendship and simply having fun together, laughing and talking. Knowing [[EtTuBrute their future]] adds no shortage of uncomfortable feelings to these moments of happiness. The entire ''Film/MrPoppersPenguins'' review in particular became this after Brad revealed that Jake had wholesale lied about the couple's activities in the back row, which explains why Jerrid had no idea what Jake was talking about. Brad's claim that Jake is a pathological liar also puts any story he told about himself (that wasn't corroborated by another member of Team Snob) into question, some of which have been cited in Funny Moments and Awesome Moments pages.
** Related to the previous point, this also applies to other videos Brad did with people that he suffered dramatic falling-outs with, including Violet (his girlfriend who broke up with him via text message; in fact, a Midnight Screening featuring them both was released just days before Brad announced their break-up), Creator/{{Allison|Pregler}} (who burned bridges with him after the 2018 Channel Awesome controversy), and [[Creator/LewisLovhaug Lewis]] in the ''Film/PowerRangers2017'' video (who sided with Allison).
*** The text-dumping is particularly harsh in regard to the review for ''Film/PaperTowns'', where Brad had done an extended bit about being dumped over an unfunny text -- filmed during his relationship with Violet, no less.
** Brad and Dave were looking forward to ''Hillary's America'', saying they were looking forward to [[SoBadItsGood a comedy]] that week. When they saw it, they found it so bad, [[TooSpicyForYogSothoth they left the theater about halfway through]].
