• And You Thought It Would Fail: Despite being absolutely lambasted by critics, and coming out in a summer notorious for box office flops, it apparently went against all odds and was one of the most profitable films of the summer of 2023.
• Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: DJ Took a Level in Badass in between films, being fully prepared for the mercenaries invading Mana One and the Fun Island attack. DJ heroically ends up saving several lives. His, "Oh, hell naw!" comments are also significantly less frequent or annoying, coming across more as valid lampshading of how dangerously absurd and repetitive the situation is.
• Special Effects Failure: The Snapper creatures suffer from poor rendering and tend to look fake in all their scenes.
