• Aluminium Christmas Trees: Neurapraxia, as Hawkeye explains to Radar after exaggerating its effects to a checkpoint guard, is indeed a real thing (although it's actually a neurological condition caused by nerve damage, not a contagious illness and definitely not caused by biting one's nails. Nailbiting is, however, a symptom of neuropraxia).
• Ho Yay: One of the slashier episodes, with Trapper's goodbye to Hawkeye being a kiss on the cheek, missing Trapper will mess up both Hawkeye (and by extension B.J.) until the end of the series, and Hawkeye and B.J. almost immediately settling into No Sense of Personal Space.
• Values Dissonance: It's safe to say that Hawkeye's reaction to B.J.'s 16 year-old babysitter would more than raise a few eyebrows nowadays.
