• Aluminum Christmas Trees:
  • The android obsession he's noted for are basically just re-imagining real-life androids as having been engineered with full sapience in mind, but otherwise don't diverge a whole lot from what real-life androids are already capable of doing.
  • The Liquiraptors that appear in his fics are liquid metal Raptor Attack dinosaurs that often feature as enemies in his works. What most people would assume at first glance is that they're based off of the T-1000, especially with the fact both entities are frozen solid to be destroyed. However, the oddly specific nature of making these creatures based off of dinosaurs is actually because the direct Shout-Out goes to an obscure species of Riptoc from Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly known simply as the "R-1000", which matches many of the characteristics of the Liquiraptors beat for beat. The main reason they're rarely known in comparison to the T-1000 has to do with the fact they only show up in the last level of the game and are otherwise out of your way from the normal route of the level.
  • Most of MF217's friends have trouble understanding why he depicts Kimeramon as a Mega Level Digimon, as opposed to an Ultimate Level like it normally is. It's because it used to be classified as a Mega Level, as noted here and here.
• Moment of Awesome: In the Banjo-Kazooie run of his, in Click Clock Wood, MF217 gets knocked off a platform by an enemy and nearly falls to his death by slipping on a ramp. He manages to save himself twice with well-timed jumps, and at the third slip uses a Beak Buster and saves himself completely. Even he was in awe of what he did.
