• Heartwarming Moments:
  • The review of Children of the Grave. The deep, emotional story gets Moarte to muse on how real life dark events have no upside to them, and wish we all find ourselves "in peace."
  • During the review of Alien: The Illustrated Story, when the story comes to Ripley going back for Jones, we cut to Moarte holding and stroking Starfire.
    Moarte: Yeah, I'd go back for one of these, too.
• Moment of Awesome:
  • In his look at Hell Girl, Moarte saying with disgust that there is a special place in Hell for child molesters. Plus providing Lewis a great opportunity to expound on his philosophy that revenge is utterly pointless: after learning beyond a doubt that there is a Hell that evil people go to, couldn't you just take solace in knowing they'll inevitably end up there rather than taking revenge yourself?
  • When going through "Skeleton Hand #2", Moarte sees the reporters put on brownface and "native garb", and immediately sides with the snake cult. The fact that the reporters hate snakes doesn't help.
• Nightmare Fuel: The end of The Twilight Zone #1959 review has our replacement host suddenly and painfully turn into Moarte.
  Moarte: Well, my children! How's that for a twist ending, eh? [laughs]
