• Epileptic Trees: The "RFL" song is just meant to be a parody of French rappers and is not meant to be taken seriously, but a few viewers have tried to analyse the song to find a deeper meaning than the authors intended. One theory is that Donald (as in, his unseen Kassos expy) is dead and his nephews are using their rap song to express their sadness.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • There's an episode where Leya Sodo fears that her son might turn to the dark side. About one year later, it actually happened in The Force Awakens.
  • A 2020 episode depicted the main trio of Totally Spies! as washed up has-beens. Two years later it would be announced the show was picked back up.
• Nightmare Fuel: Some of parodies are... disturbing. The most glaring examples are Ptiripou (who, unlike his inspiration, is a violent, murdering child-soldier), Totogro, who's basically a vicious rabid bear-like creature and Bip-Bop and Coyote, whose episode is a Shout-Out to French movie Irréversible. The Simpsons' parody being doubtless the most unbearable.
• Tear Jerker: Like everything else, it is played for laughs, but the Game of Thrones episode can be depressing. The not-Starks are shown as a happy and perfectly functional family... which then gets struck with all the deaths and tragedies their inspiration went through.
• Woolseyism:
  • The English dub gives Sandy the kind of voice you would expect to hear in a bad English anime dub.
  • Zizimir is a parody of Casimir, the central character from the French childrens' show l'Île Aux Enfants^note Children's Island, which is beloved in France but practically unheard of anywhere else. The English dub changes references to his name in episode descriptions and captions of onscreen text to "Horney". However, the change is incomplete; his dubbed dialogue still says that he lives on an island and that he was active in The '70s.
