- Awesome Music: For all its faults, the film does at least have a really great rock score courtesy of composer Piero Montonari, including a suitably sinister Leit Motif for the clown doll. Snippets of Simon Boswell and Stefano Mainetti's work on StageFright -Aquarius- can also be found on occasion.
- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The ghost of the dobermann, how did it get there?
- Ensemble Dark Horse: The Clown Doll is just so genuinely creepy it's one of the few non-ironic things, if not the only non-ironic thing, people can enjoy about the film. Well, that and Piero Montanari's score.
- Narm:
- "We're here on vacation. My camper's parked out in the yard. I'm here with my brother, and his girlfriend. Our sister Tina's with us, too. My name is Jim Dalen."
- His death is also a pretty good case of this.
- Nightmare Fuel: For a movie that has really bad acting, they succeeded in making Clown Doll really creepy, along with its Leit Motif.
- Nightmare Retardant: The message from the future isn't very well acted, not to mention the actual situation it comes up in.
