• Alternative Character Interpretation: Were Wesley's sons unable to enjoy the fun activities due to their health conditions, or because Wesley coddled them?
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Despite the ending trying to make the point that as a father, Wesley knows what's best for his sons, at no point does he ever inform Hank that his sons had health conditions, which as a Scout Leader, Hank would need to know about in case of an emergency, as was the case in the episode. Not to mention how he harshly criticizes Bobby for playing a video game and pepper sprays Bill, Dale and Boomhauer for simply trying to talk to him.
