YMMV / Justice League: No Justice

Go To

  • Broken Base:
    • The fact that the book ends both the well-liked Christopher Priest Justice League and Steve Orlando's Justice League of America runs. Some are annoyed at this, especially since Priest's run ended up only lasting six months. Others, on the other hand, feel both were still able to have relatively complete runs.
    • The exclusion of the Green Lanterns and Aquaman from the team rosters. Many are frustrated about this, especially Jessica and Baz fans who feel they didn't get enough time to fully integrate themselves with the rest of the team. Others are fine with it since some exclusions are needed to make the team feel sufficiently new.
    • Some of the roster inclusions, especially Harley. Either her inclusion is the final proof that DC is trying to gloss over Harley's status as a villain in order to make her an Alternate Company Equivalent to Deadpool, a means of shoving out other characters in favor of Wolverine Publicity (an opinion especially popular among the Vocal Minority of Poison Ivy fans), or a pleasant surprise whose status as a Genius Ditz has a lot of potential in a science-based team.
      • The same applies to Deathstroke, who has similarly been branded as an anti-hero and DC's equivalent to Marvel's Punisher in the past. It doesn't help that Christopher Priest' acclaimed run returns the character to his supervillain roots, despite a minor detour into superheroism. The idea that Batman might lead a new League with Slade as a member also doesn't sit well with many. Of course, there are those who like the idea of Slade as an anti-hero, and his attempted redemption in his own series.
  • Unexpected Character:
    • The inclusion of the Martian Manhunter was a pleasant surprise, given he had been almost entirely absent from the DCU for about two years.
    • Raven, Beast Boy and especially Robin. While Cyborg was already a League member and Starfire had League membership in the last few years before Flashpoint, they hadn't, and indeed were still part of the Teen Titans at the time. Never mind that Damian is only 13.
    • Starro came out of left-field for many despite making an appearance in Metal, given that he's a fairly underutilized B-Tier villain while the other villains being used have long been part of DC's primary villain roster.
  • Win Back the Crowd: Many fans have noted that the current Justice League run hasn't been noteworthy at all and have seen No Justice to be this for this end of the DC Universe.
