- Bias Steamroller: Tommy was somewhat infamous for some of his opinions expressed on the show, particularly his hatred of anything related to Kirby, going so far as to rate Super Smash Bros. Melee a 3 out of 10 simply because of Kirby's presence on the roster. Not to mention their covering the notoriously huge flop of Advent Rising... which Tommy rated 8.0, particularly because of the music (that he worked on). Though for what it's worth, he at least admitted Advent Rising would be one he might be a little biased towards even before he began the review.
- Fandom Rivalry: With X-Play, another G4TV review show. Only got worse when G4's Network Decay led them to choose X-Play as the surviving show.
- Memetic Mutation: The review
for High Heat Baseball 2003 on the PC is well-known for Tommy's anger at the game, going so far as to give it a 0.0.
