• Values Dissonance: Due to the author being European, teenagers drinking alcohol isn't treated as much of a big deal as it would actually be in the US.
• Vanilla Protagonist: Indigo is the most "normal" of her friends, being a sporty type who avoids excess. At worst, she's a bit impulsive and sometimes acts without thinking.
