• Mexicans Love Speedy Gonzales: Whether or not the "Monster" video is queerbaiting is a very touchy topic anyway, with many WLW fans arguing it is (but often still supporting the girls) and expressing disappointment vs. others arguing that it isn't ^note especially because "Monster" depicts a fictional story in which the two's characters do seem to be involved in a genuine Queer Romance, and it's not a situation where Irene and Seulgi themselves are doing Faux Yay in real life for the sake of marketing. But there's also a large third portion of WLW fans who say it is queerbaiting, but they will allow Seulgi and Irene to do so because they're attractive women.
• Overshadowed by Controversy: Irene's rudeness scandal with a stylist caused a massive Hype Backlash after months of buzz and a strong start for the sub-unit. Irene's reputation is recovering just fine, but it's unknown when the next Irene & Seulgi sub-unit project will be.
