* ArcFatigue: "Zero Hour" took three years to complete. Everyone {{lampshad|e hanging}}ed this sometimes.
* BadassDecay: Green Goblin and possibly Lex Luthor.
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The Goblin's [[Film/TheBigLebowski Lebowski]]-inspired hallucination.
* CompleteMonster: ComicBook/TheJoker, starting with his MoralEventHorizon. [[spoiler: After finding out Harley was secretly helping the Green Goblin, the Joker shoots her. Later, after tricking the heroes into thinking ThePunisher shot him, the Joker leads Harley away as they try to escape. The Joker assures Harley he wasn't going to leave her there to die...and then hits her to the ground, saying ''this'' is a much better spot.]] When he [[spoiler:comes back from the dead in Rorsarch and Deadpool 2, he kills a mook who sold him out in a very painful and thankfully offscreen manner, then shoots Rorsarch.]]
* CrazyAwesome: [[CaptainObvious Deadpool]], but special mention has to be made for trying to use his [[KryptoniteFactor yellow text boxes]] against GreenLantern.
* CrowningMusicOfAwesome:
** All the deadpool songs, and now [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyYb_r4cZHE this]]
** The 100th episode brings us [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyPh8aIdR-4 CONTINUITY!]]
* EarWorm:
** Deadpool's songs. "RORSCHACH AND DEADPOOOOOOOOL!"
** Also Iron Man's "Continuity" jingle.
** ''This is a ringtoooooooone, so pick up the phoooooooone.''
** Spidey's song about Disney turning all the Marvel characters LighterAndSofter.
** NOLAN! NOLAN! CHRIS, CHRIS, NOLAN!
* EnsembleDarkHorse:
** The local version of the Green Goblin is just hilarious to watch.
** Ever since his introduction, Deadpool has become just as popular, maybe even moreso.
** Lars M. Dusseldorf is probably a truer version of this trope, as since their popularity became apparent Deadpool and Gobby have been pushed increasingly to the fore, whereas we can be assured that Lars is not going to take centre stage. But he is very, very awesome.
* FunnyAneurysmMoment: After Spider-Man wakes up from a dream in which his incarnations from both of his movie franchises feud, he tells Batman that ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' might outgross ''The Dark Knight Rises''. Even though Spidey's movie made enough money for the studio to greenlight a sequel, it still made about ''$200 million less'' than ''Dark Knight Rises''.
* GeniusBonus: Deadpool's TradeSnark during the "Rorschach and Deadpool" song (''Copy and I'll suuuuuuuue'') is made all the funnier when you realise that the backing track (And the melody based off said backing track) is based on "West Precinct Medium", a piece of royalty-free music from Apple's iLife bundle included with most Apple products, which under most circumstances are perfectly legal to use in videos one is making money off of.
* HarsherInHindsight:
** In the Thanksgiving 2011 video, ComicBook/{{Bane}} says he's thankful that ''Film/TheDarkKnightRises'' will give him "redemption from Creator/JoelSchumacher", who turned him into DumbMuscle for ''Film/BatmanAndRobin''. After ''The Dark Knight Rises'' depicted Bane as an [[TheUnintelligible unintelligible]] brute who delivers AccidentalInnuendo, most moviegoers still had trouble taking the character seriously.
** The plotline of season two has the Joker attempting to make all the universes DarkerAndEdgier [[FollowTheLeader in the wake of]] ''Film/TheDarkKnight'', which gets criticized because people would get uninterested with all of the heroes being too dark. This ended up being prophetic when Warner Bros. initially pushed the Franchise/DCExtendedUniverse to be much darker than previous DC films as well as its rivals in the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse, with [[Film/ManOfSteel their]] [[Film/BatmanVSupermanDawnOfJustice early]] [[Film/SuicideSquad films]] getting scathing reviews for the heroes being too dark and harder to root for.
* HilariousInHindsight:
** There was a story arc in ''WebVideo/ImAMarvelAndImADC'' about Tony Stark feeling jealous of Batman's new movie taking his spotlight. So, Batman trained Iron Man in being a detective. Guess [[Creator/RobertDowneyJr who]] played Franchise/SherlockHolmes [[Film/SherlockHolmes in the 2009 movie]]?
** So the trailer for the 2011 DC Universe Online premiered and in it [[spoiler: a future Lex Luthor traveled back in time to warn the heroes that the world would be destroyed if they didn't stop him.]] Sound familiar? Hilariously enough, [=RandomGuy=] lampshaded this in a [=BlogTV=] chat:
--->'''Random Guy''': I'm not saying they got it from us but...[[Series/TheColbertReport CALLED IT! WHOO!]]
** "Green Lantern vs. The Critics" ended with Deadpool going through the [[Film/{{Highlander}} Reynolds-ing]] as he now has Ryan Reynolds to himself. This becomes much funnier now that Ryan Reynolds has been cast as Conner [=MacLeod=] for the upcoming reboot.
** "Ways To Screw Up The Avengers Movie" had a running gag of butchering the phrase, "Avengers, assemble!" It would later become revealed that the movie actually threw out the phrase altogether. Even later, [[Film/AvengersAgeOfUltron the second film]] actually ''did'' butcher the call, [[CatchphraseInterruptus by cutting to end credits right after the first word]].
** Said gag ends with Cap saying "Avengers Assemble... a Human Centipede!" Come ''Series/AgentsOfSHIELD'', "Centipede" is now the name for what can give regular humans superpowers.
** Another part of this video was Nick Fury saying ''In Ways to Screw Up the Avengers Movie'' "I'm here to talk to you about the Avenger Initative...[[Film/HowardTheDuck Howard]]." And now he's appeared in the after credit scene of Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy.
** Back in April of 2008, Happy Hour 1 was released, in which Logan was gloating about how he had an award-winning director, and thus was going to have a great movie. Hulk proceeded to point out this was no guarantee. ''Film/XMenOriginsWolverine'' came out a year later, and it is remembered for being one of the worst superhero movies to date.
** In a video where Adam West's Batman and Howard the Duck face off, Batman makes a comment about Marvel Studios preferring talking raccoons to talking ducks. In Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy [[spoiler: the studio has it both ways]]
** The cutesy song about Disney forcing all the Marvels to act LighterAndSofter provides a rather amusing contrast with how much DarkerAndEdgier the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse became after Disney bought distribution rights to their movies (eg, ''Film/CaptainAmericaTheWinterSoldier'') and shows (eg, ''Series/Daredevil2015''). The song also includes a line about trapping Deadpool in the Disney Vault, which sounds ironic now when Deadpool made his first speaking TV appearance on [[WesternAnimation/UltimateSpiderMan a cartoon that aired on a Disney-owned channel.]]
** [[Film/StarTrek "FIRE EVERYTHING!"]] [[Film/StarTrekIntoDarkness "FIRE EVERYONE!"]]
** During [[Film/GreenLantern Hal Jordan]] and [[Film/XMenFirstClass Magneto]]'s debate, Hal states that "[''Green Lantern''] is the first of a trilogy while [''X-Men First Class''] is running on the fumes of a fifth." Guess which film ended up starting a trilogy?
** In the very first episode--March 2007--Superman said DC "asked a few writers to think about the possibility of maybe what it might take to theoretically make a Justice Jeague movie in the next ten years or possibly more perhaps." The tentative release date for the Justice League movie is October 2017, ten years later.
*** Speaking of, [=RandomGuy=] made a parody of ''The Avengers'' by replacing the characters with the Justice League. Sure enough, Creator/JossWhedon took over rewrites and reshoots for ''Film/JusticeLeague''.
** Remember how TheStinger for "Wolverine Heroes and Watchmen Heroes" had [[spoiler:Deadpool repeatedly shooting the severed head of Weapon XI?]] The ending of ''Film/Deadpool2'' proceeded to do nearly the exact same thing when [[spoiler:Deadpool travels back in time to ''Film/XMenOriginsWolverine'' to kill Weapon XI and empties his entire gun into him.]]
** In After Hours, part of Lex's plan involved erasing half the comic book characters from existence (specifically the Marvel characters). In ''Film/AvengersInfinityWar'', [[spoiler:Thanos wipes out half of the population of the universe]].
** The Continuity song contains the line, "While Spider-Man's at Sony and the X-Men are at Fox. They'll never let them go as long as they keep up their stocks." Sony would later share Spider-Man with Marvel because ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' films were under-performing, while Disney outright bought Fox.
* HoYay: Mostly on Deadpool's part towards Ryan Reynolds, and Rorschach. In the latter's case, Deadpool shoots an old man to steal his fedora (and hug it) because it reminds him of Rorshach.
* IKnewIt:
** For the people who guessed that season three would be called "Zero Hour."
** In-universe, [=RandomGuy=] correctly guessed that Film/IronMan, [[Film/TheIncredibleHulk Hulk]], Film/AntMan, [[Film/CaptainAmericaTheFirstAvenger Captain America]] and Film/{{Thor}} movies, [[Film/TheAmazingSpiderMan three more]] [[Film/TheAmazingSpiderMan2 Spider-Man]] [[Film/SpiderManHomecoming movies]], [[Film/TheAvengers2012 Avengers]], [[Film/XMenOriginsWolverine Wolverine]], [[Film/XMenFirstClass Magneto]], and Film/JusticeLeague movies will happen within the ten years following 2007.
-->'''Superman''': ''Nailed it.''
** He also correctly called that the majority of the Justice League members will be simultaneously introduced in a [[Film/JusticeLeague single movie]] rather than individual films.
* MemeticBadass: What Green Goblin considers Willem Dafoe to be.
* MemeticMutation: Several things, often from a RunningGag or two.
** "'''DAFOOOOOOOOOE!'''"
** "RORSCHACH AND DEADPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!"
** "That's NOT a pocket!"
** "Dude. 'Sup." or "Dude. Sucks."
** From their [=BlogTV=] shows - Blaming [[{{Transformers}} Soundwave]] for any Technical Difficulties.
* MoralEventHorizon: The Joker, naturally, crosses this in the final episode of "Happy Hour". [[spoiler: After finding out Harley was secretly helping the Green Goblin, the Joker shoots her. Later, after tricking the heroes into thinking ThePunisher killed him, the Joker leads Harley away as they try to escape. The Joker assures Harley he wasn't going to leave her there to die...and then tosses her aside, saying ''this'' is a much better spot.]]
* PacingProblems: A huge amount of season 3 has been spent ''just'' explaining the plot.
* SelfishGood: Depending on the tone of the vid Iron Man was in. As he puts it, people kind of ''expect'' him to be a media whore.
* ShallowParody: The movie trailer parodies sometimes fall into this, usually by copying the trailer and adding jokes based on which character replaced whom.
* {{Squick}}:
** Deadpool apparently started a website dedicated to ''Series/TheGoldenGirls'' slash fan fiction.
** It's also a ShoutOut to comic book Deadpool's unhealthy love of Bea Arthur.
