  • The shows hilariously cheesy ED. Sung like a Japanese Randy Marsh. By Hironobu Kageyama, of all people.
  • As Ido's human body is dying and he gets transferred to his I-Machine in episode 11, Maya starts crying as if Ido will die for real, complete with somber music in the background. Thing is, using the I-Machine will actually save Ido's life, not to mention Ido thinks his I-Machine is his real self anyway and doesn't want to be reminded of his old life as Kane Arisugawa. If anything, it comes off as Maya getting melodramatic for nothing.
    • It came across more like Maya herself was the one who wanted Ido to stay in that human body, precisely because of how much she had come to care about him and was seeing him in a normal form for the first time. Not necessarily in the romantic sense, but definitely as a friend.
