- Ass Pull: The woman who Alex raped and murdered in the intro was Tom's sister. Tom purposely goaded Alex into attacking him and the others so he could kill him (thus avenging his sibling) and then claim that it was in self-defense.

by Riz Ortolani is a bona fide disco classic. - Colbert Bump: Being homaged almost shot-for-shot by the trailer for the The Cinema Snob Movie brought the film a lot of renewed attention.
- Fan Nickname: "House of the Park on the Edge" due to the weirdly constructed title card.
- Narm: As cathartic as it is to see Alex get what's coming to him in the end, it's doubtful that his prolonged, slow-motion reaction to getting shot in the dick was supposed to be so riotously funny.
- So Okay, It's Average: It's decently filmed, but regarded as only a minor success in both exploitation circuits and Deodato's connoisseurs.
- Unintentionally Unsympathetic: While Tom's plan does ultimately succeeed in bringing Alex to justice and avenging his sister, it also ends up getting many of his friends viciously brutalized, assaulted, raped, and very nearly murdered by Alex and Ricky.
