  • Alternative Character Interpretation
    • Did Sanji really love Bo Jingles, or was she just faking it all along to feed off of him? She admits that she does have feeling for him, but those feelings might not be genuine.
    • Pretty much everything Bo Jingles has done since episode 5 now that we know Yakshashamoo did a Kill and Replace on him. Knowing this, how much of his behaviour was actually because he's an idiot and a troll with Yakshashamoo just mimicking that thanks to absorbing his personality, or was Yakshashamoo deliberately trying to undermine the group to bring about their deaths.
    • Not to mention the panic Frank and Geoff went through one episode to keep 'Bo Jingles' from dying. Was that legitimate trying to keep the character alive or were they afraid of the jig being up too soon?
  • Arc Fatigue: The cave segment, spanning seven or eight episodes, was cited as this in-universe, and was for some fans as well.
    • The Ribcage segment has gotten this to a degree as well, with some viewers claiming it to be too politicized and divergent from the main plot.
  • Broken Base: The entirety of season 3 seems to be considered as this, with some people enjoying the story, or others feeling upset at how rushed the main plot seems to be.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: The Ad Goblin. His oddly creepy voice, along with the fact he usually appears out of nowhere have made him a hit with viewers.
    • Also his son. Who is popular because he really doesn't want to be an Ad Goblin.
    • Cork gets this as well, possibly due to his Butt-Monkey status among the party.
    • Among the heroes, Ryan/Albus Cumberbatch tends to be the most popular, due in part to his logical thinking, his awesome improvised plans, and being the most amicable with the NPC's.
  • Growing the Beard: The fight with Sanji is where the series starts to hit its stride, especially once the party gets to the city and has more roleplaying opportunities.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: The animosity between Orma and Bojingles becomes worse once it was revealed that Geoff and Griffon are getting a divorce.
  • Overused Running Gag: Geoff has a habit of making jokes about the effect of their rolls prematurely, to the point that many, many of Frank's description will be undercut by Geoff muttering "That kills him." Some fans have complained that it's gotten too frequent to be funny.
  • Tear Jerker: Believe or not, yes. During the battle against The Rajah, it's revealed that Bo Jingles was really Evil All Along. After they defeat the Rajah, Albus tries to reason with him, practically begging him, to stop fighting and say he's still on their side. Keep in mind, at this point Bo Jingles has already attacked Father Dori already, yet Albus is willing to not only forgive him, but convince the rest of the party that they still need him.
    • Bo Jingles to Albus: You think any of these assholes are gonna forgive me?
  • They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: The fact that both Ad Goblins in later videos have their ad reads separated from the main group, in a way that looks as if they were filmed at another time and then shoved into the middle of the video is not popular among the viewers if you read the comments - especially as a good deal of their Ensemble Dark Horse status was down to their interactions with the table and its players. (This might be because of some scheduling issues with filming and could therefore make a comeback, but still)
  • Un Popular Popular Character: Albus is The Friend Nobody Likes, the least trusted of the group, and generally the Butt-Monkey of the group. Most of the comments are much more supportive, citing his smart planning, Ryan's hammy performance, and the fact that he does keep the groups interests in mind...even if he does focus on himself from time to time.
