• Alternate Character Interpretation:
  • Is Anna actually a Punch-Clock Villain who suffered a terrible wrong at the hands of superheroes or a Sociopathic Hero who is happy to destroy any amount of lives in order to get her results? Is she just suffering Moral Myopia because of her association with Supercollider?
  • Are superheroes really the source of supervillains and a drain on society or is Anna a Unreliable Narrator since we meet individuals like Quantum Entanglement who are genuine heroes but are still subject to the Draft.
  • Was Quantum Entanglement ever actually warming up to Anna or was it all just an attempt to manipulate her into telling her who killed Melting Point? The fact she thought Leviathan was dead certainly makes it so that she was always playing Anna on some level.
• Ho Yay: Anna and Quantum Entanglement show significant sexual attraction despite discussing their respective love lives with men. Anna also has a crush on her female limo driver.
• Moral Event Horizon:
  • Supercollider when he reveals his plans to have Anna lobotomized in order to make sure she's no longer able to threaten him with bad publicity.
  • Anna having the Accelerator murdered and feeling only a twinge of guilt despite being the one to order the hit. It doesn't help she's only doing it to tick Supercollider off by killing his sidekick.
• Too Bleak, Stopped Caring: Many readers have been put off by the increasingly heinous actions of Anna in the pursuit of superheroic destruction. These include doxxing, targeting of innocent civilians, and lying to Quantum Entanglement's face about her involvement in her lover's death.
