  • Captain Obvious Reveal: The culprit behind the sentries' destruction in Vicerli is the noblewoman Lucia Baztan, who was not only incredibly prideful and rude to the townsfolk, but also had both a motive and the same kind of magic component found at the scene of the crime. Even Red, Laira's player, lampshades how obvious it was.
  • Diagnosed by the Audience: There are several hints that Laira has a communication disorder that feeds into her noted awkwardness speaking with others and finding something to do for herself in accordance to her own interests rather than just the interests of those around her.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
    • The previous large campaign by Jocat, "Belkinus Necro Hunt", ended with the final boss being a dragon. In this campaign, not only is one of the party members a draconic-looking creature (Wurd the Kobold), but dragons are an integral plot element, with one being fought as early as Session 2.
    • In Session 4, Wurd attempted to pull out Jidae's sword out from the ground to use it against La Destructora. Unfortunately, Wurd wasn't strong enough to pull it out, causing the 'villain' to laugh at him. Many sessions later, it turns out that La Destructora was actually Jidae in disguise. This makes the past event with the sword even funnier, especially with Wurd's player lamenting over a miss opportunity to have Jidae's sword to use against her.
  • Paranoia Fuel: Ever since getting Sacia's heart, the party is made very aware that the Blot is actively chasing after the hearts they have been collecting. This means the pilgrims not only have to worry about being hunted down by them, but also worry about the people around them being caught in the process. This fear only worsens when the party learns that at least some of the Bloat contain sentience and intelligence, making it possible for it to strategically attack the party or communicate with other people, especially enemies.
