• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The extradimensional house elf battle where Dobby and Mogli lay waste to a small solar system is a big one.
  • The implication that Lily had an affair with Snape in chapter 130 is never mentioned and nobody knows that it happened. Word of God said that is a dead plot point at this point.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Regulus Black for his badass skills and his tragic background.
  • Augustus Rookwood and Erasmus Wilkes for being The Dreaded even after the first being in Azkaban for 13 years and the second being a Posthumous Character.
• Moral Event Horizon: Tom Riddle crosses the line, like in canon, with the death of Myrtle Warren at the hands of the Basilisk. Unlike canon, the reason this is the point of no return is due to the fact that Myrtle's death was a complete accident, and so traumatized Tom that he used his Legilimancy to strip himself of the ability to feel emotions thereby turning him into the cruel and heartless Lord Voldemort that we so love to hate.
• Tear Jerker: Sirius' cell has the words "I'm sorry Harry" scrabled over and over again.
