- Moral Event Horizon: Johnson feels that he's crossed it during the years fighting the Insurrection. Maccabeus feels that he would cross it by destroying Harvest and all its relics. Loki, however, crosses it when he deletes Sif to prevent her from falling into Covenant hands, after promising Mack he'd protect her.
- Narm: The sex scene between Johnson and al-Cygni not only comes after very little chemistry between the two, but contains many unintentionally hilarious metaphors — the best among them being Johnson's internal monologue considering feeling al-Cygni's breasts as a "tactical error" because it nearly makes him finish early.
