  • Awesome Music:
    • The main theme of the original demo absolutely slaps, getting you hyped up for the upcoming gauntlet with some utterly insane riffs.
    • Starting off with the music done by Red's voice actor, Gaute Vist Grong, we have "Coming For You", the main theme of the game. The arrange made for the new Kickstarter trailer just straight up rocks, both backed by the visuals of the trailer and on its own. A definite highlight would be when the instruments of each of the bandmates get their own brief solo.
    • Red's theme, "Get Clapped, Drumass!", suits his character perfectly, being full of (as Gaute Vist Grong himself put it) claps, drums, and yelling profanity into the mic. The fact that the title is a play on a swear in and of itself just makes it better.
    • The stages of the game all have their own themes, each with two versions: one for exploration, one for combat. The thing pushing them to absolute greatness is the fact that they seamlessly transition between each other whenever you enter and exit combat, creating a sort of satisfying ebb-and-flow that gets you motivated to move on to the next fight.
      • The fairgrounds theme, appropriately titled "Unfair Grounds", rather suits the atmosphere. "Walk it" is calm and almost serene in its sound, fitting the feeling of this place, once full of life, being almost entirely void of it. "ROCK IT!", meanwhile, is a much more rockin' version, getting you pumped up for the smackdown that is about to occur.
    • The theme for the battle against the Valkyrie, and thus the boss theme for the second demo, is "Valhollow". Pun aside, this is an amazing boss theme with some great riffs, and a great send-off for the demo as Red and Blue take down the flying, beam-spamming menace ahead of them.
  • Nightmare Fuel: For how squishy and cute some of the aliens look (especially the Droppies), the invasion is still rather horrifying in prospect. You could be living your life all fine and dandy in Las Divas, perhaps even listening in on the Genokids' newest single, when suddenly, a bright light fills the sky, followed by an intense wind. When everything clears up, the city is in ruins, and everywhere seem to be pits of some weird purple sludge. Sludge that, as you look around, your fellow humans are being thrown into by these weird creatures you've never seen before. And when you look up at the sky, you see a bright, grinning moon glaring at you with a purple flaming eye. If you lost all hope in that moment, nobody would really blame you.
  • Visual Effects of Awesome: Amongst a lot of things about this game, one in particular cannot be denied: this game is gorgeous. Sporting a bold cel-shaded style akin to NEO: The World Ends with You while still setting itself apart, and bearing a rather extensive amount of stylish and flashy special effects, saying that the game looks bad would be a straight-up lie. Special mention goes to the flames covering the characters' heads in Hyper Mode, looking nearly identical between the artwork and models.
