  • Anti-Climax Boss:
    • The Final Boss, Festan, could be considered this, at least from a story point-of-view. He's not the man responsible for everything that went wrong, yet you wind up fighting the one who actually was, Horvath, just a few short chapters before the finale, on top of Horvath turning out to be alive at the end, so the resolution isn't as impactful or as satisfying as it could be, on top of both him sharing the same class as Titus instead of having his own and the fact that, like most bosses not tied to thrones, he charges toward you, leaving the map feeling short as well.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse:
    • Honeydew has become something of one, thanks to her positive demeanor, unusual recruitment conditions and the infamous gaiden chapter focused on her. Her portrait is considered free to use with credit to the artist (who is named in the topic page), so as she grows more popular, so does her portrait to the point of the portrait becoming memetic in its own right.
    • Kitozawa is an enemy Swordmaster fought in chapters 2-3 and 2-3x. He's something of a parody of Kelik, and considering how much of a Fountain of Memes Kelik is, Kitozawa's become memorable in his own right thanks to taking his stereotypical edgy swordfighter personality up a notch.
  • Game-Breaker:
    • Hard mode Nazar is arguably the best unit in the game, and is top tier regardless. This comes down mainly to him being one of the few units to get Hard Mode bonuses, giving him insane Strength and Speed for the chapter he joins, on top of getting Wrath, meaning that as long as he's below a certain HP threshold, he'll be able to ORKO almost every single enemy in part one and will remain useful at least until Part IV, and he can still contribute even then.
  • Memetic Mutation:
    • The Steel Blade has become infamous due to just how frequently it is mentioned in dialogue. Despite it being a generic Powerful, but Inaccurate sword, it's developed an ironic reputation as a sort-of Infinity +1 Sword.
    • The food dialogue. Pandan writes about food a lot, and people were quick to notice.
    • "The fucking emperor?" Explanation UNMARKED SPOILERS
    • HeckExplanation
  • That One Level:
    • Chapter 2-1x is a pretty normal defense chapter... at least, unless you try to get the Energy Ring. If you want the ring, you'll need to protect all of the chickens: Yes, all of them. They're all incredibly fragile and unable to defend themselves, and the variety of high-mobility enemies and reinforcements means that defending the chickens while getting all the other items takes a lot of planning and potentially praying to the RNG.
    • Likewise, Chapter 2-3x doesn't become truly painful unless you want to actually go for the loot. The map is incredibly small and cramped, on top of featuring Fog of War. Even worse, the boss moves after only a few turns, so the map is largely reduced to you turtling in the middle while your fliers go to grab the treasures and pray they don't die to archers.
