• Captain Obvious Aesop: Lampshaded at the end of the episode. Peter announces that he's learned that it's wrong to go to Vermont to marry your son. Stewie replies that he should have already known that.
• Squick: There are a lot of this in this episode, and not just the incest jokes:
  • The "Veins Magazine" cover with Barbara Pewterschmidt.
  • Everything about Peter's Hairless Twin.
  • Setting aside the fact that the episode once again heavily implies that Peter may be attracted to children (including his own), there's the (thankfully offscreen) scene where Chris helps Carter blow off some sexual frustration by teaching him masturbation. Gross enough, then Carter makes 100% clear that Chris taught him by giving his own grandfather a handjob.
  • There's a scene that Meg calls Chris for having a bath together, implying that they have sex while bathing and even Peter finds that to be too much.
  • The premise of the episode itself is about Peter wanting to marry Chris. It being nothing more than a ruse to get Chris' money just makes it even moreso disturbing.
  • There’s also the scene of Peter casually presenting the lifeless head of a teenager to Chris.
