• Best Known for the Fanservice: The first thing this anime got attention for is the male characters' skimpy outfits and their fanservice-filled poses and transformations.
• Fetish Retardant: Some of the transformation sequences are so exaggerated and explicit in poses and movements that one can't help but laugh in surprise instead of being turned on.
• Ho Yay: Despite the fairies kissing their clients, and Homura being in love with Shiina, it's also worth pointing out that the fairies have a lot of moments together, not to mention one of the Ten Laws they must uphold explicitly forbids them from falling in love with someone from the opposite sex (which was established because of what happened with Sirius, but still).
  • All the fairy guys sleep in the same bed, but Homura and Ai sleep cuddling with each other.
  • Jyuka has a Luminescent Blush whenever anyone on his team says something cool. It's happened a couple of times around Ranmaru, but he has done it in the first episode towards Uruu, after which he says, "You're the beautiful one."
• Memetic Mutation:
  • Lots of jokes about the characters' nipples, in large part due to them being very visible, and very detailed for anything non-hentai.
  • The Writer's Barely Disguised Fetish ^note A meme that started going around Tumblr due to the immense amount of shibari imagery of men being tied up in the series, which sparked a joke that this is the creator's fetish.
