• Angst? What Angst?: Despite everyone else of the Mane 6, especially Twilight just now and no doubt countless others of her world being assimilated by the Darkness, Pinkie isn’t the least bit downtrodden when she makes her appearance known, in contrast to BF and Pibby being initially horrified by what has happened to Twilight. While Pinkie seems to be trying to keep BF and Pibby’s spirits up, the former even smiling shortly after she appears, it’s rather odd how even when being attacked by a corrupted Twilight, Pinkie shouts a cheery “Awesome!” amid magical Beam Spam.
• Narm: The starting cutscene shows Twilight sad about the Darkness having assimilated much of her world with BF trying to comfort her and both singing. However, amid Twilight’s otherwise soft and solemn singing is her repeatedly letting out a loud and robotic “BREA,” which can really take one out of it. It’s almost like she’s trying to sadly ask for bread.
• Nightmare Fuel: Doubling as a Tearjerker, the starting cutscene depicts BF trying to get Twilight to come back with him to everyone while she angsts over the lost of her friends, itself a sad scene, turns horrific when a river of the Darkness suddenly rains down on Twilight with the sounds of water and a split-second view of it being the only heads-up before she too is assimilated. Twilight’s screams and BF seemingly calling to her afterwards as he and Pibby see what happen to her makes it all the more heart-rendering.
  • At one point in the song, the corrupted Twilight tries to fire lasers at her old allies. Already bad enough with how if one Misses while this happens, it’s Game Over, but it’s made all the more disturbing with her icon having a wide Slasher Smile with a glow on her horn throughout the section.
