YMMV / Dragon Ball: Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle

• Complete Monster (Funimation dub only): Lucifer is a vampiric demon lord who rules over the Devil's Castle. Centuries ago, Lucifer procured the Sleeping Princess, a mystical diamond that can be charged with and harness moonlight. Lucifer intended to use the "awakened" Sleeping Princess to power a cannon to destroy the sun, which would plunge the world into eternal darkness, knowing fully well humanity could not survive without the sun. Lucifer was also known to capture humans and drain them of their blood for him and his men to drink, and he planned on making the 16-year-old Bulma his latest victim, followed by the rest of the Dragon Team.
• Questionable Casting: Not surprising for the English dub, given this was Funimation's very first in-house dub:
  • Ceyli Delgadillo is usually considered a bad miscast as Kid Goku due to her softer voice and subdued way of speaking. The character's loud and energetic moments especially sound awkward.
  • Likewise, Leslie Alexander sounds far too old and shrill as Bulma, and she never voiced the character again.
