YMMV / Disney's Activity Center

Go To

  • Awesome Art: Like with its Animated Storybook counterpart, the Toy Story Activity Center has graphics on par with the movie. Sadly, this would be the last time Pixar directly helped out with the series.
  • Growing the Beard: Toy Story seems to be the first game that was well-remembered, as it sports a much wider lineup of more creative games than basic straightforward ones, animation just as good as the movie it's based on (fitting, considering the animation was done by Pixar themselves), and a lot of moments arguably as memorable as the movie itself.
  • No Problem with Licensed Games: Surprisingly, a lot of the games were fairly good. Some arguably better than others, but overall it keeps with Disney's higher track record among licensed games.
  • Sequelitis: Contrary to its predecessor, most people tend to agree Toy Story 2 Activity Center was a pretty weak cash-in. First off, Pixar didn't return to do the animation for this one...and it shows. Beyond that though, it lost a lot of the creativity its predecessor had (such as moving between houses and Pizza Planet to pick activities), the activities were fewer and much simpler, and in general it just feels like it could have been a lot more.
