• Harsher in Hindsight: This episode deals with Ethyl's Near Death Experiences. After the Grand Finale, it's safe to say that she and everyone else have gone to "The Afterlife" for good. Even worse, during her second near death experience, her husband Louie's spirit assures her that she'll be with him forever "soon enough." It ends up being sooner than anyone expected.
• Heartwarming in Hindsight: Connecting to the above, if this Afterlife is exactly how Ethyl sees it, at least they'll be happy there; they'll all be together, Robbie can meet the girl Ethyl found for him and Charlene will have the amazing shopping sales to enjoy.
