• Catharsis Factor: The Cruel Veterinarian getting his just desserts from the hands of the dogs he sent out to space against their will (including Courage's own parents, no less).
• Nightmare Fuel: The nightmare bugle barely even resembles a bugle at first glance. Many have mistaken it for an imperfect fetus, which isn't surprising, given its fleshy appearance. Its uncanny movements and face make it hard to look at for some. And when it appears, there is no warning. It just appears out of nowhere, easily becoming a Jump Scare for many.
• One-Scene Wonder:
  • The blue CGI-animated bugle/human-like creature in "Perfect". It literally only has ten seconds of screen time and is never seen or mentioned again, yet to some fans is regarded as the most memorable (and nightmarish) part of the entire episode.
  • Also, the blue and red fish which tells Courage that he's perfect the way he is.
