• Friendly Fandoms: Despite generally being much more gentle, sincere, and artsy, she has a rather sizeable fandom crossover with the Hyperpop scene, in particular that of PC Music and Charli XCX due to their frequent collaborations, especially just as Caroline was making a name for herself as a post-Chairlift solo artist. She has an especially notable overlap with PC Music alumnus Danny L. Harle due to being a major co-producer in Pang and Desire, I Want to Turn Into You. Also with Grimes, who featured on "Fly to You" and is close friends with Caroline in real life.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • Caroline screaming at geese.^note Caroline's appearance in PC Music's "7 by 7" virtual event in 2020 consisted of selfie footage of herself quietly harmonizing while wandering Hyde Park, including several points of imitating the screeching sounds of geese. The sheer bizarre-ness of the sight, combined with the half-ironic, half-sincere appreciation of her vocal abilities led to Caroline becoming known in some sects of the internet as "that pop singer that screams at geese."
  • The lyric "Show me the banana" from "So Hot You're Hurting My Feelings" - at at least one performance, some audience members actually held up toy bananas during that section of the song.
