  • Broken Base: The video for "Midnight." Some loved it and liked it because it was different while keeping the spirit of the band's videos, while others hated it, considered it nonsensical even by Caravan Palace standards and wished for a return to animated videos. Still others thought it was fine, but would have preferred the character of the Midnight Cowboy to have been a mysterious, unexplained figure instead of a vigilante.
  • Friendly Fandoms: The band gained one with Zootopia of all things, thanks to their music video for "Lone Digger" which features a group of anthropomorphic animals at a strip club. To the point where the idea of Nick and Judy investigating the club after the events of the video became a popular subject.
  • Most Wonderful Sound: Lots of examples, but particularly memorable ones include the bizarre, Toad-like vocals from "Bambous", and the keyboard sounds from two-thirds into "Beatophone."
  • Memetic Mutation: "Wonderland" is a popular choice for animation memes, while "Comics" is popular for edits.
  • Nightmare Fuel:
  • Signature Song: "Lone Digger" appears to be their most well-known song. No doubt thanks to its infamous music video.
  • Squick: If "furry strip club" didn't kinda turn you off from the "Lone Digger" music video, there's a chance you'll yelp at the climax, especially given how abrupt it is.
  • What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: Yes, the "Lone Digger" video is animated and takes place in a World of Funny Animals. No, you should not show it to your kids; it opens up in a strip club and gets worse from there. This is especially prevalent now that Lone Digger played in Strange World.
