- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- One of the writers for the TV series was Alex Zamm, who went on to direct The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About. In other words, he went from a ripoff of an R.L. Stine product to an actual R.L. Stine product.
- Teacher Creature used that kind of pun a few years before the more well known Goosebumps take on it did.
- Retroactive Recognition: The TV series features Linda Cardellini as Sarah, as her first screen role.
- Spoiled by the Format: In Toilet Terror, Ellie manages to impale the monster, Spike, using the snapped tip of a pool cleaner causing Spike to sink underwater. Cue Ellie, Andy and Hans celebrating they've killed the monster... on page 83. Of a 120-page book. To nobody's surprise, Spike turns out to be Not Quite Dead and makes a final attempt to kill the trio.
