• Complacent Gaming Syndrome:
  • Lyrelle is the only healer for the majority of the game, making her nearly mandatory for long, drawn-out boss fights. In the endgame, she will usually be paired with the second healer, Ophelia, since this gives Lyrelle more room to cast group buffs.
  • The majority of enemies fall under the six non-dark and non-light elements, which makes Luna the most effective AOE attacker for dealing with standard mobs. In contrast, the other characters are more likely to fall under Crippling Overspecialization due to specializing in specific weapon types or elements.
• Fridge Brilliance: Despite supposedly gaining divinity, Rhetz is only strong enough to become an endgame Duel Boss for Cesar. Since Matria is secretly draining his power in order to create the Devourer, it's possible this weakened him too much to reach his full potential and put him on the same level as a party member.
• Fridge Horror: There's no mention of what happened to the royal families of Gemeid and Xmeil, since Gemeid was taken over by the Holy Order while Xmeil is no longer even a country. It's implied that both lines were wiped out during the Magistra Wars, especially when Xmeil was the closest geographically to the Magical Institute of Magistra.
