  • It's Hard, So It Sucks!: The game was praised for its graphics, music, humour and Phil Hartman's performance, but critics and players weren't too keen on the teleporting enemies, stiff controls and tricky platforming elements, making for an incredibly difficult PS1 experience. This, alongside Hartman's death, led to the game never receiving any sequels.
  • Scrappy Mechanic:
    • Enemies materialize out of nowhere when you step on a certain area or complete a certain action. Thanks to this and the 3D platforming element, it's not uncommon to take multiple shots until you can locate and destroy your attacker.
    • Thanks to wonky collision detection, some enemies are able to shoot at you while behind a solid wall, while you are unable to do anything in return.
