• Fridge Brilliance:
  • Why does Lurgen leave behind the brainprint that everyone wants so badly, as well as a backup copy hidden in the Fool? Perhaps as insurance to bargain with if he needed protection from the Federation?
  • Travis is shown to be on friendly terms with Gola, who regards him as a Federation fugitive despite Travis being there with Servalan. Yet Travis had to have been a recent arrival (he found out about Lurgen's brainprint at the same time Blake did). Possible explanation: Travis hid on Goth after fleeing Star Command, got to know Lurgen while he served the old Charl and from him learned of Docholli, explaining why he's in a position to intercept Blake in "Gambit", and how he's able to quickly acquire the brainprint in this episode.
• Special Effects Failure: The blue-screen effect of Vila and Jenna arriving at the underground tents.
