YMMV / Bachelorette Party

  • And You Thought It Would Fail: When the story was first announced, there was a strong negative response. The fact that the story is genderlocked, has an unoriginal title, and the cover featuring the Girl Scouts gushing over a male stripper, complete with a direct view of his butt, gives the impression it would be yet another romance story when there are so many of them released during 2019. However, it has developed a decent fanbase with people finding the characters likable, the friendship among the Girl Scouts well-executed, the narration quirky and unique, and the risqué humor amusing in a Crosses the Line Twice way.
  • Base-Breaking Character:
    • Aisha Bhatt. Some players like her for her badassery and being the second Transgender character in the Choices universe after Andy Kang from It Lives. Other players dislike her for withholding the truth about her stolen briefcase, putting her friends in danger as a result.
    • Courtney Van Ness. She is either viewed as a fun loving party girl who brings an enjoyable amount of humor to the story, or an annoying airhead who seems to only care about drinking and getting laid. Players also complain about her Spotlight-Stealing Squad moments to the point that they think the story gives too much focus on her.
    • Diana. Some players like her for being the most grounded member of the Girl Scouts who stays to the safe side as much as possible and feel sympathetic for her because she is stuck in a unhappy relationship with verbally abusive, controlling Jerkass. Others feel that her preference to stay on the sidelines makes her a mood killer in a comedy.
  • Bizarro Episode: Chapter 11. After the four main characters end up lost in the desert, they camp there until morning. Courtney prepares a soup made from a cactus that turns out to be a peyote plant, and what follows is a Mushroom Samba for the history books. The main four find themselves back in a college lecture where the professor is a dragon (whom they defeat with magic powers), Courtney meets a cartoon version of herself named "Court-toon" and a talking fox, Diana finds herself surrounded by Princess Pandas, Aisha battles wave after wave of vampires and werewolves, and Mandy comes to the conclusion that she's either Mexican footballer Bernardo Hernandez Villasenor or a rectangle.
  • Fan Nickname: Skip has come to be known as "Skip Bossywood III" due to his, well, bossy attitude.
  • Memetic Mutation: Courtney's happy expression, which many view her smile exaggerated to the point where some players even photoshopped her face by enlarging her eyes and smile for comic effect.
  • The Scrappy: Diana's fiancé Skip Brentwood III is widely hated for caring more about his senatorial campaign than Diana, even saying that he wouldn't forgive her if she does anything that jeopardizes his campaign. It becomes a Catharsis Factor and Take That, Scrappy! when Diana finally breaks off the engagement, and the epilogue shows her in the Thunderdome beating on him with a foam sword.
