- The man protectively covering the girl with his cape when the fishermen come out.
- The girl cradling the egg and claiming that she can hear the thing inside dreaming.
- Nightmare Fuel: Perpetually dark and twisted backgrounds, a soundtrack which is 90% ominousness and a general feeling of creepiness which permeates the entire movie.
