• Awesome Music: Despite using soundtracks from other sources, the game makes VERY good use of its variety of music.
  • The second phase of Compale's battle has Dark Matter 02 from Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon playing, giving off a surprisingly grandiose and epic vibe to what's only the player's first boss fight in the game.
  • The final battle with Celesteal is accompanied by The Cairn, giving off THE perfect tone for a final battle to conclude a story's end.
• Best Boss Ever: Ixol. Ever since checkpoints were added to Celesteal's fight, Ixol has often been regarded as the most difficult boss in the game and is a visual spectacle.
• Best Level Ever:
  • Mad Dragon Festival. More specifically, the Trial of the Seven Dragons star, which requires you to traverse several dragons which constantly twist around.
  • Distortion Paradise. Aside from the Visual Effects of Awesome, this is where the game really pushes you to your limit.
• Captain Obvious Reveal:
  • After Cyalm and Anshine's conversation in the Sky Emporium, it's not particularly hard to guess that Cyalm is untrustworthy and has some kind of connection to Celesteal.
  • Stratosfear being the first Star Savior is this for those who earned the secret ending to the first game.
• Cult Classic: After Explode1's termination from ROBLOX due to details explained in Overshadowed by Controversy, several people have taken it upon themselves to restore Adventure Forward 2 after various ROBLOX updates broke the original, and some are even working on an HD remake of the original game, with quite a community following the developments.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Ixol has proven to be one of the most popular Points.
• Nightmare Fuel: Seeing Ixol screaming their heads off about Cyalm killing their friends in their mind during the Pre-Shattered Shardscape cutscene can make players a bit horrified.
• Overshadowed by Controversy: After being hailed as one of the best Roblox games, it is now overshadowed by Explode1's alleged sexually predatory behavior towards minors and termination afterwards, to the point only a few people play this game now. However, this has died down over time, particularly when a new team began to work on the series and restored this game.
• The Un-Twist: It is implied that Celesteal is just a fabrication by Cyalm, especially after they reveal their true colors. After the battle with Cyalm, however, they reveal that Celesteal does exist—by virtue of the fact that they are Cyalm's true self, who they promptly turn back into.
• Visual Effects of Awesome: Distortion Paradise has several patches of "distortion", rendered as several 2D glitched-out textures constantly disappearing and reappearing.
