- Angst? What Angst?: While Rae mourns for home once in a while, she mostly put it out of her thoughts and immerses herself in her new life. Justified as she is also raising a child.
- Heartwarming Moments:
- On her first day in Konoha, Rae is alone, starving, and without money. People have ignored her or treated her with hostility. But when she gets to a food stand, asking for a job, she is handed a bowl of ramen without question. The owner who gave her food, Teuchi Ichiraku, one of Naruto's first friends, then offers her a job with a month's pay in advance so she can get an apartment. Rae is absolutely touched.
- Pretty much every interaction between Rae and Naruto. Especially their first meeting, when Rae runs into little Naruto after he's been thrown out of an orphanage. She puts her jacket around him, hugs him and tells him "Not everyone hates you". Then he falls asleep in her arms.
