YMMV / A Timid Woman Longing For Her Delivery Girl

Go To

  • Alternative Character Interpretation: It's possible, but never said outright, that Aida has unrequited romantic feelings for Kazama. This would explain why she hates Takase so much; she blames Takase for Kazama getting fired and is jealous that Kazama chose to make advances on Takase, rather than her. This interpretation is also supported by how she calls Kazama out for getting "friendly" with the newcomer," and later makes snide remarks about how Takase could find a rich husband.
  • Angst? What Angst?: While the events that led Takase to quit her job were traumatic, she seems more upset by Aida backstabbing her than by Kazama sexually harassing her. After Rinko accidentally falls on her and tries to help her up, it serves to remind her of Aida's insincere concern, rather than Kazama groping her.
  • Fridge Brilliance: Rinko being an Excellent Judge of Character isn't just good intuition. As an outgoing young woman who works as a delivery person, she's almost certainly met many different kinds of people, and developed the ability to read someone in a relatively short interaction.
  • It's Short, So It Sucks!: The story is rather short, since it has only three chapters and a total of about 108 pages. One of the most common criticisms is how the story comes off as rather rushed as a result of how short it is.
