As part of this being an
Accusation Fic, this tends to come up a lot.
- Chloe chews out Ash, Goh, and her father for leaving her behind while they constantly obsess over Pokémon and only notice her when she gets into whatever they like.
- Goh is furious at Chloe for chucking his phone into one of the curries, complaining that he could have lost all the data on it if it was damaged. This snowballs into Professor Cerise demanding to know what's gotten into his daughter while she calls him, Goh, and Ash out for not really caring about her.
- In Chapter 5, Goh chews out all of Chloe's classmates for being more interested in Ash and Pokémon and not the more terrifying fact that Chloe has run away from home and probably gone forever. Said classmates, in turn, lash out at him; as her Childhood Friend, he knew her better than they did.
Goh: But none of you guys seemed to notice that she's been gone for a week, right?! That her parents are freaking out over her disappearance! She doesn't have any Pokémon on her, so if she gets hurt, then she...
Yeardley: Well, you have lots of Pokémon and you're to blame for her disappearing! Then you go after her! You're her friend, right?
- Lexi briefly chews out Atticus in Chapter 12 when Atticus reveals that he feels the Apex destroyed The Unfinished Car, and thinks that Atticus only went along with Chloe for protection. In the same chapter, Renji calls out Chryssa for doing nothing when Professor Cerise chewed him out.
- During the Intermission, people online blast Chloe's school, her homeroom teacher, and Professor Cerise for how they were horrible for not doing anything more to help Chloe.
- Chapter 16 has Trip and Goh arguing over keeping the Infinity Train secret for the latter. Trip states that Goh has gone off the deep end when it comes to him lashing out at others while Goh is angry that Trip didn't want him to know what happened to Chloe in the first place.
- Parker gets several of these from everyone regarding his actions with the Unown. Everyone, even Chloe and Lexi, is disgusted and furious with what he did, spelling out how he invalidated their efforts and undermined Chloe's confidence at the worst possible time.
